Sorry my hand is blocking some…ALSO when working with cadmium paint DONT GET IT IN YOUR MOUTH, as I did here☠️# So I finished this painting 18 months ago, signed it, exhibited it, and now I’m working on it again with major changes. Is that ok? Lighting effects are fun and maddening…or mad fun. Also flowers have too many colors to keep track of!! Nearing the end of this painting, getting a bit emotional. I bit off more than I could chew, but didn’t choke. Conception Moving painting… Timelapse underpainting... The old painting on the backside wasn’t done either. I was just throwing pop culture references at the wall to see if anything happened…it didn’t. Now I build paintings digitally and paint them onto the canvas when I’m done. Way more efficient and fun. Thank god for digital media. This is how you keep from getting sick in the winter months, especially if you work with kids. There is no pain at all as long as the salt content of the water is the same as your body. Any more or less salt and it’s hell! Stay well y’all. The magic of delay…. Eva Goodnight from Studio A. Just a little glimpse into my studio/living space, and no, I don’t have OCD. It’s just much easier this way. Learning to paint skin tones could teach you a lot! I’ve got five paintings in the works, struggling to find time to finish them. They’re fairly large but acrylics dry quickly so while I’ve got the momentum, I’ll use it. Thanks for looking!
